Perfect Paw-ty Planning Tips

Great ideas to make sure your party is the place to sniff and be sniffed.

Where should I have the party?

  • A local Dog Park would be ideal! Some parks may even have a special area you can rent for your event.
  • Another great choice would be a home with a large fenced yard. Be sure there are no holes or gaps in the fencing and remove any materials that might be hazardous to your guests!
  • For a warm weather pary, try a dog friendly beach or lake.

What should I serve?

  • Don't forget to have plenty of finger foods, drinks, and cake for your human guests!
  • Choose one of our delicious cake recipes for the four-legged invitees. We can personalize it for your event, or even make individual 'pupcakes' for each partygoer.

Should I have Party Favors?

  • Party Favors are a great idea! Bandanas are always a big hit. Pick a print that goes along with your theme.
  • Frisbees or balls are great inexpensive choices for active dogs.
  • A must have for any canine get-together is a goodie bag of dog treats for each guest to take home. We offer individually wrapped treats in tons of flavors, shapes, and sizes. We can even package them in personalized decorative bags to match your theme and color choices! Just email us with your request!

How do I make sure this is an Event to Remember?

  • Make sure to have plenty of water bowls available at all times.
  • Don't forget plastic bags to clean up after the pets!
  • Set aside a time-out area in case one of the guests gets a little rambunctious.
  • Have a hand-washing station with soap and water or antibacterial hand wash near the 'people food.'
  • If the party will take place on a hot day, fill a kiddie pool with water to create a doggy oasis.
  • Provide plenty of towels to dry wet dogs and mop up flying slobber.
  • Don't forget the Paw-parazzi! Take plenty of pictures of the memorable event and email them to all the Moms and Dads after the party. You know, for paw-sterity...
